In order to satisfy our customers, we actively pursue the development and practical application of new products and technologies, while at the same time, exerting efforts to address production technology challenges so as to provide a stable supply of high quality products. We are positioned in the Technical Center of Toyo Seikan Co., Ltd., and cooperate with the various companies in our Group.

Product Development

Development Policy Decisions

We determine the direction of our development by collectively summarizing our customers’ requests.
We discuss user-friendliness and directions that have a low environmental impact.

Prototype Designing

We design customers' requirements into specific shapes.
We may also create shapes using our 3D printers to check whether they satisfy what customers have imagined.

Development of Various Containers

Development methods will differ depending on the type of container materials used.
Here three different developments will be described.

Injection Molding Product Development

Using injection molding mainly to develop caps and the like. In addition to tight sealability and the ease of opening the product, we will put into consideration on disposability for separation and sorting.

Direct Blow Bottle Development

We mainly use olefin plastic to develop bottles made through the direct blow molding method. We consider optimal thickness in addition to a well-designed shape. We also consider the appearance when the label is applied.

PET Bottle Development

We implement development of PET bottles made using bi-axial stretch blow molding. We consider design, pressure decompression deformation, heat resistance, and many other factors.

Production Technology

We must produce products with stable quality in an efficient way in order to send them out into the world.
To accomplish the goal, we will endeavor to consider further improvements to our production facilities and more effective measures while analyzing production data of each production line.
We implement technological developments to use new functional materials and environmentally friendly materials and the like.
